Opened since 2014 in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the Bruno Moinard Éditions gallery welcomes all year round, behind its large bay windows, a large selection of our latest collection, as well as most of our iconic pieces and rugs inspired by Bruno Moinard's paintings.

Elger Esser - Landscapes and Other Bagatelles

A major figure in contemporary photography, Elger Esser unveils a collection of rare works that blend ancient techniques with a poetic vision: black-and-white heliogravures, prints on silvered copper plates, and photographs enhanced with oil paint.
Between silent landscapes, church interiors, and pleasure architecture, the exhibition explores the timelessness of perception.

The works resonate with the world of Bruno Moinard Éditions’ furniture, creating a subtle dialogue between art and design, memory and material.

Permanent Installation In Situ

" Accustomed to abandoned spaces that are partly in ruins, I loved descending into this vaulted cellar with its stone walls, just as you'd find in the old quarters of Paris.

I imagined a project using gold leaf to introduce light by reflection, so that it subtly cohabits with the stone, which is dominant here. The gold heptagon on a very matt black background contrasts with the roughness of the stone and seems to materialize like an object.

For me, it's an opportunity to integrate my installation into an inhabited space, the Bruno Moinard Éditions gallery."
