If we can say of one of our armchairs that it is “well-built”, it is our Colpo model, a true work of a jeweler-carpenter. A sophisticated assembly of walnut or oak pieces builds the structure, each finding its place like in a construction game. To avoid taking the spotlight from the wood, the seat is a simple width of leather, enhanced with a fabric pad. Feet, armrests, crosspieces… each element of the puzzle is tapered and softened for more lightness. And the whole thing is of course a nod to these iconic armchairs from the 50s, so comfortable that we adopt them for a lifetime.
