The Genoa bar cabinet, like many of our storage pieces, has an intriguing side. What are these waves, these hills, these wind-swept clouds that unfold across its facade? If it attracts so much attention, it is thanks to the very particular patina which adorns its structure: a textured lacquer, applied in numerous layers, creating reliefs and patterns. An abstract landscape is then drawn on this bar cabinet, different on each piece, imbued with great serenity, like on the “scholar’s rocks” of Chinese intellectuals.
