The Chambord side table embraces asymmetry and brilliantly plays on two elements: oak and ceramic. With smooth edges that are soft to the touch, and along the edge of the tabletop, a narrow “gap”—a ray of light, a void through which the floor appears—the entire Chambord line pays homage to the De Stijl movement of the 1920s, which drew inspiration from the first skyscrapers.
